1 night / 2 Days Last minute safari to Nyerere National Park (Former Selous Game Reserve)
Day 1: Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park
This tour starts in Zanzibar at 07h35 to Nyerere National Park. On arrival at 08h20, you will be met by the driver-guide, who will brief you regarding your game drive in Nyerere. Then, enjoy a full day game drive. You may expect to see any significant African favourite mammals, including Elephants, Giraffes, Lions, Buffaloes, Zebras, Hippos, Crocodiles, and even the rare African Wild Dog. The rest of the evening will be spent at your leisure, bonfire, dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Nyerere National Park to Zanzibar
After an early breakfast, you will depart for a sunrise boat safari along the Great Rufiji River to spot Hippos, Crocodiles and Birds and enjoy the spectacular sunrise. Then, you will be transferred to Mtemere Airstrip for departure on your scheduled flight at 10h00 to Zanzibar.

2 Nights / 3 Days last minute Safari to Ruaha National Park
Day 1: Dar as Salaam or Zanzibar to Ruaha National Park
Depart with the 8:30 am flight from Dar es Salaam to Ruaha. Upon arrival, you will be met by your camp/lodge guide and game drive transfer to your camp/lodge. Ruaha is the home to all five big predators- lions, leopards, cheetah, wild dog and hyenas- and it’s known for it. Ruaha’s dry river beds also see the curious act of elephants digging for water. You cannot miss the extraordinary rock formations and endemic birdlife, making Ruaha so unique. Enjoy lunch, dinner and overnight at your camp or lodge.
Day 2: Ruaha National Park
Enjoy an early breakfast, followed by a full day game drive with picnic lunch or two half-day game drives returning to your camp/lodge for lunch. In the evenings, return to the camp/lodge to find a bonfire and a hearty meal under the stars. Overnight at camp or lodge.
Day 3: Ruaha National Park to Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar
After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Ruaha National Park before arriving at the Ruaha airstrip, where you will catch the 11:45 am fight to Dar (ETA 13:50).

You will return for hot lunch and relaxation. At around 16h00 in the evening, depart for sunset boat safari along the great Rufiji River to spot hippos, crocodiles and birds, and enjoy the spectacular sundown.
Day 3: Nyerere National Park to Zanzibar
Early morning walking safari usually start at 06h00 after first-morning tea or coffee, accompanied by an armed ranger, and it will take around 2 hours long. Walking safari is a fantastic way to experience more about the Selous Bushes. After enjoying your breakfast in the morning, check-out followed by transfer to Mtemere airstrip to depart on a scheduled flight at 10h00 to Zanzibar.
